Mailer2 BackSteve McShane serves Salinas as City Councilman for the Third District of Salinas including the city center, downtown and industrial complexes. He is married to Danielle Dupree McShane and together they have one son Patrick Thomas McShane. Steve holds a degree in Soil Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a Masters in Agribusiness Administration from Santa Clara University. He is owner of McShane’s Landscape Supply and a partner in Converted Organics Fertilizers in Gonzales. Steve is an active Rotarian, member of Salinas Elks #614 and a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West #132. Since 2010, Steve has served on the Monterey Bay Air Resources District and the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments. He is a founder and Vice Chair of Monterey Bay Community Power When not working of volunteering, Steve can be found spending time with his family traveling, hiking or gardening in the backyard.
